Finally.

Saturday, May 19th, 2007

Well after being delayed by a disagreement about just what it is that the word “immediatly” means with Nationwide I am now off to meet up with Werly and her friends in Saundersfoot in Wales. I shall be away until Tuesday night and back at work on Wednesday.

Tired but Happy

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

I had an awesome weekend in Lincoln with the lovely Joy. I met some of her friends, didn’t eat or sleep enough and generally had a great time. She even made me an ice cream sundae! YAY!

Another belated update

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

I haven’t been blogging much lately as I’ve been having lots of fun and I’ve been quite busy. The weekend before last the lovely Joy came down to visit. I haven’t seen her since the first time we met almost two years previously. We had a very relaxed weekend, watching films and […]

And Now We Wait…

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

I cycled to the post office today to send a letter to Barclays requesting my penalty charges refunded. It was a four and a half mile round trip and I’m shocked at just how tiring it was. I really must get out for a ride more often. I’ll try and badger hippy […]

Best Served Chilled

Monday, April 9th, 2007

The holiday was a nice break, I’ve put some photos up here. Last week was fairly uneventful, the usual work-sleep-work routine. Chris’ friend Xuan has been staying with us since Thursday evening. He’s a very good guitarist and he can sing too, although it’s in Mandarin so I have no idea what […]

Then I went to T-Mobile and a got a MDA Vario II on a better contract which actually includes unlimited surfing and email for considerably less a month that Orange were charging.

As […]

A Quick Update

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

I went into the Orange store today and spoke to the guy that sold it to me, he agreed to cancel the contract but told me he couldn’t refund the upgrade fee. I told him that was fine as long as I could keep the phone, he then changed his mind and agreed to […]

Poor Planning on my Part

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

I’m going away on business this evening, I’m working at Focus on Imaging at the NEC for the next few days. I have a reservation at a posh hotel in Birmingham for the trip and I had been planning on driving up there this afternoon but I rang the hotel this morning and it […]

New Music

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

I wish I had discovered Sigur Rós a long time ago. They write the most hauntingly beautiful music I have ever heard. I’ve been listening to them pretty much non-stop for the last few days. I’ve just finished watching what could loosely be termed a music video (MOV) and it was absolutely […]

A Cry to be Ignored

Sunday, February 4th, 2007

Lately there has been a lot going on in my life that has brought me down. It seems to be getting worse, I’m beginning to find even the most mundane of acts to be epic tasks. I have no drive and I don’t care. I had a talk with a friend recently […]
