Tuesday, August 17th, 2004

It was a feirce battle but in the end I reigned supreme, this time.

EDIT: I have emailed this pic to a spider website to find out what it was as I’ve never seen a spider that big before it was about two and a half inches long. If you know what it is please […]

Third-Perspective Merchandise

Wednesday, June 9th, 2004

In this capitalist society I know what you want, as you’re all good little consumers so now here’s your chance for a little bit of history. Buy your very own third-perspective T-shirt!

Available in three styles budget T-shirt ($10), Two Sided T-shirt ($15) and Longsleeve ($20). Unfortunately they are all only available […]

McWhat Exactly?

Wednesday, May 19th, 2004

Has anyone else seen the new advert for McDonalds Chicken McNuggets? The voiceover says Chicken McNuggets are now made with premium chicken breast or words to that effect. Is it just me that wonders what they used to be made out of now they’re actually made out of chicken?

PDF’s - Advertising File Formats?

Wednesday, March 17th, 2004

Has anyone else seen the advert for Adobe PDF? It’s online at the adobe website here. More confusingly it’s being shown regularly on channel four. Why do they need to advertise file formats? The advert doesn’t really explain what PDF is or does. C’est Bizarre!

Wednesday, February 11th, 2004

I was browsing eBay as I do regularly and I discovered this. It’s an auction for an eBook that will show you how to get the number one ranking on google. Sounds dodgy to me.

Saturday, February 7th, 2004

I was listening to Xfm on the way home this morning and they announced that the Pixies are reforming for two shows. They gave out the number for the ticket office and immediately their switchboard was full of people who wanted to get tickets. After a while they started putting people on air […]

Why Jo shouldn’t be allowed to play with balloons..

Sunday, January 25th, 2004

For Christmas my brother (upon my suggestion) bought Jo a balloon modelling
kit. She had wanted one since we saw the magicians at Gill’s party.
Unfortunately the instructions seem to have been translated back and forth by a
deaf, blind mute so they were hard to follow. For her birthday I bought her a
DVD to explain […]

Ka-Boom … The End

Thursday, November 6th, 2003

This evening was good fun. Three of us went out into the middle of nowhere
to fire the Potato Cannon. It’s a piece of drain-pipe with a chamber on the end
you put a potato in one end and then squirt deodorant into the chamber. Then
you put an electrical charge between two nails that don’t […]
