Tonight has made me reflect on the relationships I have with people online. With people I know in real life and those I have never met. There are people that I have never met that I count amongst my closest friends. It seems entirely possible to develop feelings for people, friendship, trust, etc. without having ever been with them. Of course it is a dangerous thing to believe all that you see/hear/read online and there are plenty of nutters out there but I feel that I have been very lucky to meet some remarkable people online and I hope that they know who they are.
