The holiday was a nice break, I’ve put some photos up here. Last week was fairly uneventful, the usual work-sleep-work routine. Chris’ friend Xuan has been staying with us since Thursday evening. He’s a very good guitarist and he can sing too, although it’s in Mandarin so I have no idea what it means.

Then I went to visit my family on Saturday at the coast. Mum took me to see a bench that she organised in memory of my Grandparents, it was really touching and I got a little choked up. It’s in front of a hotel they used to stay in, looking out over the sea, I think they would have liked it.

Sunday was spent sat on an upturned tree in glorious sunshine looking out over a rather lovely view, with Xuan playing and singing, Chris carving things into the tree and me talking to Sarah through MSN on my phone. Then we came home and Andy joined us for a quiet evening of pizza, fizzy drinks and biscuits.
