I went into the Orange store today and spoke to the guy that sold it to me, he agreed to cancel the contract but told me he couldn’t refund the upgrade fee. I told him that was fine as long as I could keep the phone, he then changed his mind and agreed to refund me it. So tomorrow I’m heading to the Orange store again to return my phone boxed and formatted and end the contract, then I’m going to T-Mobile to get a Vario II on a cheaper contract that includes proper unlimited data at any time. I didn’t even post the letter.

After thought: This does mean that I am without a mobile from now until I get my contract activated with T-Mobile and it also means that I will have a different number for a few days while I’m getting mine migrated across.
