So today was my third day in Cologne and I have to say that so far this experience has been eye-opening. I have discovered things about people, myself included, that have surprised me, for example how hard it is for me to suppress the real me for the sake of acceptance and the fact that German hospitality is fantastic and all the Germans I’ve met have been incredibly friendly and polite. Cologne is a beautiful city and the Cathedral is truly amazing, I have photos but they really don’t do the scale of the place justice. I have a morning off on Thursday so I will probably do some proper sight-seeing then and I’ll post photos when I can.
