Happy, Lost, Delayed and now Missing
After work on Thursday I drove up to Katy’s for our last weekend together this year. Unfortunately as we both work in retail getting time off together in December is pretty much impossible. We had a lovely weekend, very relaxed and contented. A friend had given me series one of Lost and Katy asked if we could watch it, over the course of the weekend we got through the first twenty-one episodes and I have to say it is rather good.
On Sunday Katy and I took her Mum to Llangollen, which is a very pretty town, where we wandered around the shops and then went for a walk along the tow-path. It wasn’t the first time I’d met Katy’s Mum but it was the first time I’d spent a day in her company, we got on really well and apparently she approves. Later we took Katy’s Mum home and she cooked us dinner before we headed off back to Katy’s to continue watching Lost. When I had to leave on Monday morning and it took me seven hours to get to work which was lots of fun and a new record. So now I won’t see her until New Year’s Eve when we’re going out in London. Hopefully she’ll be moving back to London early in the New Year, which can’t happen soon enough.
