Blissful Weekend

I had a fantastic weekend, Katy came to stay on Thursday. On Friday she met me at work for lunch then went shopping until I finished when we went up to London for the evening. We went out to Synthetic Culture with Russell, Shelly, Tracy, Red, Elin, and Jason. It’s a very strangely laid out club, there’s a courtyard between the entrance and the rest of the club then there are three floors which play various genres of alternative music, with seemingly labyrinthine narrow corridors and staircases connecting them. We stayed in the courtyard for most of the evening, where Red and I talked rubbish and he explained his plans for world domination, which were worryingly well thought out and practical.

We got back to Russ’ Flat just before six and then we were awoken at nine when Tracy, Russ’ Sister, got home. It became clear we weren’t going to get any more sleep so Katy and I headed off for breakfast in an organic cafe around the corner. Later we met Red and Elin in Regent’s Park where Red and I geeked with my new toy then headed to The Ben Crouch for dinner.

I had to go home on Saturday evening but I received a phone call on Sunday morning as Katy had accidently left her return coach ticket at my house so I did my best to get to London in time but arrived a few minutes too late. We were both secretly glad though as it meant we got to spend some more time together. We are sickeningly happy together.
