Having come to the end of my contract with Orange I wanted to renew it with a different contract and a Nokia 6230*. Unfortunately Orange told me that the contract I wanted was only available to new customers as an introductory offer. I rang them today to tell them that I would be canceling my contract and they asked why. Once I told them, they immediately offered me the contract and handset I wanted.

I don’t really understand why they bother saying you can’t have it in the first place. After this why would I ever pay for an upgrade again?

* It’s a great animation but why did they show a PowerBook with Windows on the screen?
