Keep ‘em coming
My Brother gave me a free months trial of lovefilm.com which means I can have rent as many films as I want in the next 30 days. I can have three at a time and keep them as long as I want. After my first trawl through their available films I had 36 films in my rental queue. I’m looking at it as a challenge how many films can I see for free in 30 days.
Last night I watched the first three; Razor Blade Smile, Jersey Girl and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. They were disappointing, surprisingly good and odd respectively. I’ll let you know how many I got through at the end of the month. Feel free to place bets.

It takes a day to send back the DVD and another day for them to process and dispatch the next disc. Assuming you could watch and send back the film in one day (catch the last post) then you could potentially watch 45 films spread across the 30 days.
(30 days / 2 day cycle per disc) * 3 discs at once = 45
However it’s more likely that you won’t watch a film a day and instead watch a couple in one day - which means you miss out opportunities to send back films one by one.
So I’ll put the figure at 18 - 20 films over the 30 days.

Its a nice system, but unfortunately I have trouble watching one film a year, let alone making the most from a £10 or £15 membership each month.. I don’t think it’d be value for money for me. But hey, might as well try a free month heh
