The Witching Hour

It’s been a hectic few days. I’ve been working every day since Tuesday, I was supposed to have Sunday and Monday off but I agreed to work on Sunday to cover for someone else, then I found out my day off has been switched to Wednesday. So I’m a bit knackered.

I went out Thursday night with Chris and Tony for a curry, then I went out on Friday night with ‘Big Bad Mark’ and some other people from work, then finally I went to the Tap ‘n’ Tin last night to see The Gilt Trip with Jo and Tony. They are the heaviest band I’ve seen in ages, they were really good and I must congratulate them on a stonking cover of “Groovers in the Heart”. Although the crowd reminded me why I don’t go to heavy gigs, I just don’t get mosh pits, never have, never will. Pogoing and headbanging I can cope with but throwing yourself at other people with arms and legs flailing is just gonna end in tears.

It’s just coming up to midnight on Hallowe’en and I have been celebrating by watching the first series of Urban Gothic. It’s not as good as I remember it but it was definitely worth a second watch. I did have more to write I think but I’m tired so I’ll stop. Nite.
