Like A Virgin
I had my interview this morning for Virgin and it went really well. The manager (update: he wasn’t the manager) seemed like a nice guy and it all sounded quite positive. During the interview I managed to look like an idiot in the following ways:
On being asked what my preference was on their products I said that games were my favourite followed by music. Then after an immensely long pause I said actually film would be my favourite.
On being asked my favourite genre of music I said Metal (why!?) then when asked my favourite bands I said The Cure (because they’re so heavy) and the only other bands I could only think of were The Sisters, Jack off Jill, Scarling and Linkin Park, which clearly showed my musical tastes well, not.
Still the hours sound pretty good, the pay is good as is the staff discount, the uniform is any trousers you like with their black Virgin shirt and the manager pretty much challenged me to fill my face with metal (piercings).
