I’ve been having a think about what I’m doing with my life. I must have applied for well over a hundred jobs and I’ve only had two interviews and three or four rejection letters. I’m feeling a bit disheartened about the whole thing and I think it’s important that I do something about it.

So I have come to a decision, I’m going to a take any job, probably something in retail until about September next year. During that time I want to take a course in PHP & MySQL, possibly take the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Photoshop, start learning Japanese and save up as much money as I can. Then I want to go to Japan to teach English for a year. I have found a program that organise a placement, return flights and accommodation for graduates, so all I have to do now is contact the Japanese Embassy at get some more information.
