Wrecking Party
Last night in a departure from our usual pub visits we did some work for Chris’ Dad, who buys, sells and transports caravans. These are not the little ones that block the roads on bank holidays, these are the big static ones. He had an old one that had outlived it’s usefulness so it needed to be ‘got rid of’.
So Chris, Rob, Tone and I along with a supporting cast of three crowbars, a hammer, two air-rifles and a pair of nunchucks got rid of it. I personally fulfilled several of my childish fantasies during the demolition, punching through a wall, kicking through a wall and striking nunchucks through a wall as well as smashing a window. It was good fun and after about two hours we had taken out one side wall as well as the interior walls and flattened the roof to the floor. By then it was too dark to see so we called it a night.
