I spent about six hours copy and pasting and correcting the date. But I had nowhere near 800 posts. I'm certain there is a way to do it but I got no help from the iBlog people or the MT forum as you saw. I tried making a template that would output data in the format MT wanted but it never worked properly. i found that it would pick up only the titles and ignore the date and body of the post.
