I remembered today that Apple had released a version of iTunes for Windows so I downloaded and installed it on my freshly grown PC. I was impressed to discover that as soon as I had installed it and told it to share my music and look for shared music, I had access to all the music on my PowerBook wirelessly. Very cool.
