It must be the Broadband
I’m so sick of technology not working. First the monitor died so I bought a secondhand one from Chris. Then I ordered broadband and installed a WiFi card in the PC. The PC wouldn’t work with the WiFi card, so I reinstalled Windows. When I reinstalled Windows the hard disk died. I bought a new harddisk and the PC wouldn’t recognise it. Today we updated the BIOS (twice) and it still won’t recognise the hard disk. When the broadband was activated we had to replace the phones in the house as they were picking up a lot of the noise from the ADSL. Tonight after getting home and telling my parents that the PC is still not working, my Mum goes to use one of the new phones and it dies during her conversation. I test the faulty phone in the other sockets and decide that as the other phones are fine it must be the phone that’s broken. After telling her this she says pointedly that it’s strange how all this has happened since I got broadband.
It now looks likely that I will be spending about a ton on the PC to replace the Motherboard, Processor, RAM and Graphics Card. So it will basically be a brand new PC in an old case. I just want it to work.
