1st Class Waste of Space

Monday, March 22nd, 2004

On the way to uni today I sat at the front of the train as it was empty. After sitting down and getting down to some work on my PowerBook the ticket officer came along and asked to see my ticket. I gave it to him and he told me that I couldn’t […]

A real live bandit

Friday, March 19th, 2004

Yesterdays lecture was fantastic. I was in two minds as to whether I should bother coming in or not as it’s only one hour and I have plenty of work to do. It turned out to be well worthwhile as we had a guest lecturer, Aleks Krotoski (who used to present Thumb Bandits […]

PDF’s - Advertising File Formats?

Wednesday, March 17th, 2004

Has anyone else seen the advert for Adobe PDF? It’s online at the adobe website here. More confusingly it’s being shown regularly on channel four. Why do they need to advertise file formats? The advert doesn’t really explain what PDF is or does. C’est Bizarre!

PS2 Vs Xbox the rematch

Wednesday, March 10th, 2004

My post about PS2 Online seems to have sparked some life into the xbox vs PS2 debate. Dean has made some strong arguments for the xbox as it has a HDD and decent online options. However Xbox Live has a subscription fee and I already have a fair sized collection of PS2 games. […]

Vector Illustration

Tuesday, March 9th, 2004

In my continuing quest for things to put on my CV I’ve been playing with Illustrator this evening. I made this on the train on the way home. Not my usual style but I quite like it. Expect more similar work in future.
