Why do bands allow other “Artists” to cover their songs? Yesterday while I was in the pub with Ji-Ho I had to endure a disgraceful cover of ‘Fell in love with a Girl’ by The White Stripes, done by Joss Stone and renamed ‘Fell in love with a boy’. Then this morning while I was tuning in my parents telly I saw Lamar from Poop Idol on Top of The Pops Saturday covering ‘I believe in a thing called Love’ by The Darkness. It’s just not on. Surely they don’t need the money that badly.
