It’s going to be a busy week off
By tonight I will be free of uni work for the next four days! That means
that I’m going to try and get third-perspective migrated to Movable Type, I’m
also going to buy a decent A3 portfolio and fill it with my work in preparation
for the hundreds of companies that are going to be begging me to work for them.
I’m also planning on playing PS2 a lot as I can now finally play Project Zero
and Judge Dredd Vs Judge Death.
Also as some of you know I worked
on a site for New Ash Green Village Association not long ago. The site
eventually died a death and the person I was working for never got back to me
about it (the last I head he was off looking for photos to put on it). What I’d
really like to do is redesign the site, without using frames, so that it looked
at least half decent. I’d also like to install MT for them so that they can
update it themselves as this was the problem before. I never really wanted to
get tied into updating the site on a weekly or a monthly basis for them as I was
doing it for nothing. Hopefully I can knock together a draft of how the site
will look and get a local copy running on MT to show the Chairman. I just think
it was such a shame the way the project ended and I don’t really want any bad
feeling between me and them.
As well as the above hopefully this week
will see the end of my work on velocity-performance.co.uk. Unfortunately the
site has dragged on a bit due to no fault of the people involved but because I
live a long way from them and I don’t have broadband (yet!). That meant every
time a change was needed I had to meet Will to get a CD with the new files and I
only see him once a week.
