Mini’s (perhaps the worst kept secret of all time) were announced, an
updated batch of iLife apps were unveiled and the G5 Xserve
was debuted too. The iPod Mini’s were a bit disappointing really, the papers
were saying that they were going to be about £100 and they are $249

Rob bought his X-Block over today for an afternoon of “hot hot
gaming action”. He also has Need for Speed: Underground so we played that
first. My initial reaction was eurgh! I cannot emphasize enough how much I
hate the X-Box controllers. They are too big and they have too many buttons.

Absolutely superb. A friend told me that on watching this there were points at which he felt like crying because it is just too good. Having seen it I understand his point.

Entertaining non-stop action film. There's no real need for a story and the shoot-outs are well worth watching regardless.
