I finally got around to something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. I
got the Apache webserver working properly on my Powerbook with Movable Type
( target="_blank">tutorial) and PHP ( href="http://lawver.net/geek/geeked/002718.php"
target="_blank">tutorial) installed. It has been a productive
evening. Now all I have to do is figure out MT and design my site ready to hand
in on January 30th. When I’m feeling a bit braver I might install mysql and
phpbb locally ( target="_blank">tutorial) but that one looks more
complicated.
