Need for Speed Underground
Cars, good. Speeding, good*. Bodykits and Neon, good. Yep,

target="_blank">Need for Speed Underground has it all and is the
best game I have played in ages. It has just the right mix of fun and
frustration and I think the learning curve is smooth enough to let most people
enjoy it. I bought it yesterday and started playing it about 4pm I played it
until I went to bed and then this morning after I put the finishing touches to
the recoding of this site I carried on playing it until my family dragged me out
for lunch. It really is superb. The only thing that lets it down, the PS2
version at least, is that the split screen mode is unplayable. The PS2 can’t
cope and because of that the game slows down and the cars feel unresponsive but
considering I tend to play games to pass time when I’m on my own I don’t think
it matters that much. I’ve gotta go….
*obviously only in
videogames.
