I finally understand…

Today it all became clear to me: I’m at uni because I don’t know how
to use a search engine
. At least that was the impression I was given by
my lecturer this morning. The lecture was supposed to be about JavaScript but
she spent the first 45 minutes explaining that we had to hand in what we were
told to hand in in the module study guide. She went through the explanation of
what we had to hand in that is on the href="http://mercury.tvu.ac.uk/mma/htmlpages/assignment2.html">web
and basically read it to us, I found that really helpful because I wouldn’t have
known that if it says write an essay, href="http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=stating+the+bleeding+obvious&btnG=Google+Search">we
have to write an essay. Finally in the last 15 minutes she started
our lecture on JavaScript, aided by a trusty PowerPoint presentation, she
explained what JavaScript was. Then she showed us some examples of JavaScript
at work for example a (static!?) clock on a webpage. Then with about a minute
to go she explained that there are lots of href="http://mercury.tvu.ac.uk/mma/htmlpages/resources.html">useful sites
on the web that you can copy and paste JavaScript from and apparently
the best way to learn is to sit and work through it on your own. Oh, the
INTERNET! Why didn’t I think of href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Javascript+tutorials&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8">looking
there?! I’m glad I href="http://www.nusonline.co.uk/subsites/stopfeesnow/">pay
£1,125 a year for insight like that.
