New design

Friday, November 28th, 2003

You may have noticed the site was down for a while today. Hopefully you’ve
noticed the difference so what do you think? I haven’t quite finished all the
changes but I definitely prefer the new design. I also changed it so that my
diary is the front page.

Trying to be organised

Thursday, November 27th, 2003

I’ve decided that I should implement categories within my diary as it will
make it easier to browse and to find specific posts. Unfortunately the posts
until now were generally written on a daily basis so they don’t easily fit in
any one category.

Bye Bye Baby

Thursday, November 27th, 2003

As of 1:45 today I am Powerbookless. I rang Apple on Tuesday, UPS
delivered me a box on Wednesday and I arranged for it to be collected today at
12 (so they were nearly on time). I must admit though that I am really
impressed with UPS, the box they sent me was very well padded […]

A few bad Apple’s spoil it for everyone

Tuesday, November 25th, 2003

I rang Apple today and unfortunately I have had to accept that my Powerbook
is going back to them for up to 14 days. Then I got put through to Customer
Relations and I asked what Apple were planning to do to keep my brand loyalty.
I explained that I had spent £2000 five weeks ago and […]

Ooh, get you with your famous friends…

After Eddie accidently sent me a link to a Norwegian newspaper that proved
that the pic in the forum is actually of Sophie Ellis-Bexter and not him, he has
redeemed himself today. We were in the pub chatting and when we got on to the
subject of “The Osbournes” Eddie mentioned that his
brother-in-law played at the Ozzfest […]

Fireworks, Why?

Sunday, November 23rd, 2003

On the way home from work today I had a scary experience on the train. As
we were pulling out of Greenwich some idiots started throwing fireworks at the
train. First of all I saw some sparks and assumed that it was from the train
scraping the live rail but the next one hit the window […]

Jumped Up ‘lil Twat

Saturday, November 22nd, 2003

Today wasn’t fun. I trekked over to PC World in Thurrock with the hope of
getting my Powerbook replaced. When I got there I went to Customer Services and
asked for the manager. This guy came over, Matt Bushell, and said that he was
the manager and asked how he could help. His body […]

<moan>
Do you ever feel this way? There’s just too much
going on to deal with. My Nan and my Mum both have health issues at the moment,
the politics at Uni are way out of control, the teaching at Uni is way below
acceptable, I feel like I’ve got loads of Uni work to do, money’s […]

The Clash of the Titans

Wednesday, November 19th, 2003

It’s about 10:30 now and I’ve just got off the phone. My Powerbook has
dodgy marks on the screen. They were there when I first got it but I tried to
ignore them. They’re white clouds one either side in the middle of the screen,
they’re not dead pixels as I have some of those […]

Ghost Town

Tuesday, November 18th, 2003

On Tuesdays I don’t have any classes until 3pm. Today I went in early as I
wanted to go to Cyberdog in Camden and then to Raelene’s before class. I bought
“Cyberdog - The Beginning” about a month ago and when I got home I realised that
it was missing a CD. Just after that […]
