T’is the season to be jolly… (nearly)
I spent this afternoon working on a poster for “Festive Fun” which is a
family run Christmas show in Weymouth. I did the same job last year when it was
called “Crackers for Christmas!” It’s run by the brother of the guy I was
working for, basically I get shown exactly what they want and then I just create
it. There’s no design involved on my part really. It’s nearly finished and I’m
going over there tomorrow night to add the finishing touches. It was so much
easier being able to take my powerbook over there and work on it there, last
year we had to keep going back and forth and it took a lot longer.
I
got my powerbook insured yesterday, I was amazed that it only costs £45 to
insure my powerbook for 9 months. I had been expecting it to be at least
£100 for a year. It’s cool though cos it means I can take it out and about
and not worry quite as much.
