Quandary and a quandary
Me and Jo went to see Quandary playing at the Courthouse in Dartford
last night. My mate Ben is the guitarist and second vocalist. They were really
good! I’ve never seen them before, I knew that Ben was a good guitarist but
that doesn’t necessarily make a good band so I was impressed. During the
evening Jo was taking pictures of people wearing denim for a uni project. She
decided she wanted a picture of the back of PeeWee’s (the second guitarist)
jeans but was too embarrassed to ask if she could take it. So I offered to take
it, I said “PeeWee, turn round Jo wants a pic of your arse” and he
misunderstood. He turned around and dropped his kecks revealing the hairiest
arse I’ve ever seen much to the amusement of the rest of the pub. He was a
little drunk though so it’s not entirely his fault!
My own personal
quandary is what I’m going to do with this site. I’m currently using iBlog to
run the diary part of the site and I’m using Dreamweaver for the other areas.
My brother was talking to me about Movable Type the other evening and I’m
considering installing it on my server and running it all through that. It’d be
nice that I could update the diary from wherever I am but I like the fact that
iBlog checks my spelling and lets me preview my site locally. The main reason I
was considering it was that some of the site I’ve seen look very, very good. I
think I might just stick with what I’ve got and make a nice CSS template to work
from. hmm.
