An Experience
I went to the PS2 Experience this afternoon with Rob, Tone and Will. I was
really looking forward to it and unfortunately I thought it was quite
disappointing. I can’t really say what I was expecting but I thought there
would be more than just games. I was hoping for some demo’s of the PSP or some
new technology but nothing, just lots of games and lots of people. It
was cool to see and play Gran Turismo 4, XIII, SSX3?, Beyond Good & Evil,
etc. I just thought there would be more going on. There were some b-grade
celebs there one of the last batch of Fame Academy students, Melanie Blatt from
All Saints and I think someone said that So Solid Crew were there but as no one
got shot it seems unlikely.
There was this guy there that did Human
Beatbox called
target="_blank">Killa Kella who was very impressive and perhaps
one of the higlights of the show. There were also several martial arts
demonstrations which were cool but overall the “experience” just seemed a little
weak. I don’t think I’d bother going next year but it wasn’t that bad for
£6 and I did get a load of freebies.
