I bought an Apple Powerbook 520 at a bootfair for £5
this morning. I saw it on the stall and asked the lady selling it if it worked.
She said “I don’t know, it mind need a harddisk or memory or something. You can have it for a fiver if you want”, so I felt that I couldn’t say no. When I got
it home I was impressed to discover that not only did the laptop work but it had
Photoshop installed. That was a little ironic though as the laptop turned out
to be a greyscale display. Still it was fun to play with.
