Such Perfect Days…

Yesterday was my 20th Birthday and Jo took me to the coast for a day out to celebrate. We went to Hastings for a wander around the shops and to relax on the beach. In the afternoon Jo said that she’d like to go to Winchelsea as she used to go there with her parents when she was a little girl. So off we went. We were supposed to be having dinner in a pub/restaurant Jo’s parents had “recommended” called The Bridge Inn which we passed on the way. We got to Winchelsea went to it’s arcade then sat on the beach for a while until Jo said she was hungry and we should go and get dinner, this was about 4pm. We got in the car and headed back to The Bridge Inn, when we got there Jo made some excuse about not wanting to turn right across the road so she turned left into the car park for The Strand House.

I was still wondering what she was up to as we got out and went into the house, we were greeted by a man called Geoff, Jo introduced herself and said she had booked a few days ago. Well, I was a little shocked. So we stayed in this 15th Century House for the night and it was lovely, we went to The Bridge Inn for dinner and the food and service was great. This morning at breakfast we had the chance for a full English breakfast but I decided just to go for 3 slices of toast, a weetabix and four cups of coffee. We spent the morning in Rye and then came home just after lunch. It was great. Thank you Jo, you’re too good to me. xXx

Lastly a quick happy 23rd birthday to my brother Paul for today.
